Lady's parasol, Philippines ca. 1880/1900
Parasol for lady, Philippine work circa 1880/1900. Total height: 61 cm.
Piece with a predominance of cream tones in most of its compositional elements. A delicate gabardine made in silk, satin and lace cover an internal structure of rays and rods imperceptible to our vision, due to the great state of conservation of its silks that, in particular, covers the concave area of the cup.
Its cane is decorated with carving in the form of a trephine, circles and studs, a Filipino work.
This umbrella is accompanied by its original matching tassel. Very good state of preservation.
