Travel Poster Philadelphia Pennsylvania Railroad. Original vintage travel advertising poster: Visit Philadelphia - Go By Train - Pennsylvania Railroad. Colourful artwork showing five different views of the landmarks and historical buildings in the city of Philadelphia: Independence Hall, Betsy Ross House, The Liberty Bell and National Memorial Arch Valley Forge PA with a scenic view below of tree lined streets leading to the city centre dominated by modern skyscrapers and buildings, the text above and below in stylised letters. The Pennsylvania Railroad (PRR or "Pennsy") was founded in 1846, merging with New York Central NYC in 1968 to form the Penn Central Transportation Company. Litho in U.S.A. Very good condition, minor tears and creases on right margin. Country of issue: USA, designer: Kummer, size (cm): 102.5x63.5, year of printing: 1950s.
