A set of four antique hand colored etching prints from the book The natural history of man comprising inquiries into the modifying influence of physical and moral agencies on the different tribes of the human family by James Cowles Prichard, published in Paris, 1843. The prints depict the second Chief of the Mandan tribe, a Cherokee War Chief, a Chin-ook boy, and the Chief of the Otoe tribe.
