Philip Guston, Canadian, American, 1913 to 1980, a limited edition lithograph on paper depicting a still life with boxes and a pair of shoes. Signed in pencil, lower right. Numbered 82 of 100 in pencil, lower left. Framed. Philip Guston was a Canadian American painter, printmaker, muralist and draftsman. He is regarded as one of the most important, powerful, and influential American painters of the last 100 years. He frequently depicted racism, antisemitism, fascism and American identity, as well as, especially in his later most cartoonish and mocking work, the banality of evil. Philip Guston is known for Abstract expressionism, figurative painting, drawing. Modernist American Fine Art, Abstract Expressionist and Figurative Paintings, Wall Art, and Collectibles. One of a kind artwork.
