DAUNIAN BICHROME POTTERY JUG - Ca. 400-300 BC.A pottery trefoil jug with a buff-coloured slip with horizontal bands painted in dark brown and ochre hues. The vessel features a bulbous lower body, complete with a flat circular base and a trefoil rim. Positioned on the side is a practical handle for ease of use. Size: 110mm x 120mm; Weight: 255g Provenance: Property of a North London gentleman; from a European Collection of Italic native pottery, France, bought in Paris in the 1990s.
