ROMAN GLASS BOTTLE WITH THREADING - Ca. 1st-2nd Century AD.A yellow-green Roman glass with some scattered areas of gleaming iridescence. The vessel consists of a tapered bulbous body and a wide tapered cylindrical neck that finishes in a slightly flared rim. The vessel is decorated with a fine band of reddish-brown applied glass thread trailing. Size: 115mm x 65mm; Weight: 50g Provenance: Ex. Ye Olde Curiosity Shoppe, NJ., Dr. Arnold Saslow.
