ROMAN GOLD PAIR OF EARRINGS - Ca. AD 100-200.A matched pair of gold earrings. At the heart of each earring is a round-section hoop. The hoops are fitted with eye and hook closures, which allow them to be securely fastened to the earlobe. The centre of each hoop is adorned with a round disc with a beaded border and a central raised knob. At the bottom of each earring, a short braided chain is suspended. At the end of the chain, a blue spherical bead dangles, adding a touch of colour and vibrancy to the overall design.
