PAIR OF EGYPTIAN GOLD DISCOID PENDANTS - Ca. 664 - 332 BCA breathtaking pair of gold pendants with a polished surface. They have thread shaped hoops, connected to a tubular cylinder to set the pendants in a necklace. The pendant on the left, has a double line decoration on the external edge. Gold was considered the flesh of the gods in ancient Egyptian society because it was seen as incorruptible, unlike bronze, iron, and silver.
