NISHAPUR GLAZED BOWL
Ca. AD 900 - 1100A Nishapur glazed pottery bowl featuring a deep basin and convex walls painted with quadripartite space which is divided into four petals made with green dots on white ground. A homogeneous transparent glaze covers the interior. On the edge of the walls is a stylised pseudo inscription. The exterior is adorned with glaze only on the top under the rim.
