Ca. 16th century AD . A square framed pottery tile decorated with an underglaze of blue, green, bole-red and turquoise on a white ground, depicting a large double saz leaf to the centre enclosing a stylised rosette, flanked on each side by part-flower-filled serrated edged rosette medallions, linked by fine circular stems. Size: 330mm x 330mm; Weight: 2.64kg Provenance: Previous property of a UK Islamic art professional.
