Description:
Photo of the Secretary of the Central Committee of the CPSU Lazar Moiseevich Kaganovich, who supervised the construction of the subway in the early period. Until 1955, the metro bore his name. The original photo is presented, as well as a retouched version, apparently intended for official publications. On the second photo there is a stamp of the photo laboratory with the order number on the back.
