Description:
Original illustrated paperback. The magazine contains many color illustrations, cross-sectional layouts of the reactor made on film (with the ability to view the reactor "cut-through"), an inserted illustration with a layout of the RBMK-1000 (38,2x48,9 cm), etc. The album designed by V.N. Dobrovolsky, the editor-in-chief is the Soviet nuclear physicist Morokhov I. D. There is a gift inscription on the title page from Morozov I.D., apparently, to Timerbaev R. M.
Information:
Igor Dmitrievich Morokhov (1919-) is an atomic physicist. In 1961-1971, Deputy Chairman of the State Committee for the Use of Atomic Energy. In 1971-1980, Deputy Minister of Medium Engineering of the USSR for Science. Laureate of the Stalin (1951) and Lenin (1958) prizes. Roland Mikhailovich Timerbaev (1927-2019) - Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary, the last permanent representative of the USSR and the first permanent representative of Russia to international organizations in Vienna. One of the authors of the Treaty on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons.
