Гусарский Его Величества лейб-гвардии полк - гвардейский гусарский полк Российской императорской армии. Сформирован в правление Екатерины II. Карл Карлович Булла (1855-1929) - владелец фотоателье (с 1875 г.) в Санкт-Петербурге, вошедший в историю как "отец российского фоторепортажа". С 1897 года фотографии Карла Буллы стали печататься в массовом и популярном журнале "Нива". С этого времени его имя стало известно по всей Российской империи.
