Information:
Georgy Aleksandrovich Lapshin (1885–1950) - painter, graphic artist, set designer. In the 1900s he studied at the Stroganov Art and Industrial School. From 1906 to 1914 he traveled to France almost every year, where he studied at the School of F. Cormon and the studio of J. Lhermitte in Paris. In 1922 he emigrated, lived for a short time in Germany and Italy, and in 1924 settled in Paris. He worked on the Cote d'Azur and in Versailles in France, in Venice, and the Pyrenees. The works are in the Tretyakov Gallery.
