Viktor Alexandrovich Vesnin (1882-1950) - architect, teacher and public figure, representative of avant-garde and neoclassical trends in architecture. Chief architect of the People's Commissariat of Industry (1934), chairman of the Union of Architects of the USSR (1937–1949), first president of the Academy of Architecture of the USSR (1936–1949), full member of the USSR Academy of Sciences (since 1943), deputy of the USSR Supreme Soviet of the 1st and 2nd convocations. Alexander Alexandrovich Vesnin (1883-1959) - architect, theater artist and teacher. Honorary member of the Academy of Construction and Architecture of the USSR, professor. Alexey Mikhailovich Gan (Imberh, 1887-1942) - avant-garde artist, art theorist. The representative of the radical wing of constructivism. The editor and publisher of the first avant-garde magazine about the Soviet cinema "Kino-phot", with which Vladimir Mayakovsky, Dziga Vertov and Lev Kuleshov collaborated. Mikhail Isaakovich Sinyavsky (1895-1979) - architect, teacher. The representative of constructivism. In 1926 he graduated from VHUTEMAS. Participant of the famous First Exhibition of Soviet Architecture, Since 1949 - Professor of the Moscow Architectural Institute. Honored Architect of the RSFSR. According to his designs, the Planetarium’s buildings (with M. Barsh), the crematorium, residential buildings on Gorky Street (No. 64, 43), on Maxim Gorky Embankment (No. 28—36), on Vorobievskoye Highway, and the embassy building were built in the capital. Socialist Republic of Romania. Mikhail Osipovich Barsch (1904-1976) - architect, professor. From 1934 he worked in the workshop-school of I. V. Zholtovsky.
