Information:
Sergey Donatovich Dovlatov (Dovlatov-Mechik; 1941-1990) - writer, journalist. Since the late 1960s his works had been distributed in samizdat that caused the prosecution by the authorities. In 1978 Dovlatov had to emigrate. He was one of the founders and Editor-in-chief of the newspaper "New American" (1980-1982).
