Information:
Viktor Ivanovich Govorkov (1906-1974) was a graphic artist, poster artist, and illustrator. Honored Artist of the RSFSR (1971). He studied in Moscow at the VKhUTEIN in 1926-1930 with S.V. Gerasimov, D.S. Moore and V.A. Favorsky. Well known as the author of the following posters: "Your lamp, comrade engineer!" (1933), "To the Soviet country - Soviet heroes!" (1935), "All world records must be ours" (1935), "Thank you to beloved Stalin - for a happy childhood!" (1936).
