Margot Fontein (1919-1991) - ballet dancer, prima ballerina of the Royal Ballet, permanent partner of Rudolf Nureyev after his departure from the USSR. Alexis Rassine (1919 – 1992) - a ballet dancer who enjoyed his greatest success with the Sadler's Wells Ballet in England in the 1940s and early 1950s.
