Tami's works have been included in many solo and group exhibitions in Iran and in France, the United States, Armenia, the United Kingdom and the United Arab Emirates. Fereydoun Ave, an influential figure in Iranian contemporary art, began collecting her works and organised a solo exhibition at Ave Gallery in 2007. In 2016 and 2018, further major exhibitions were dedicated to the artist at O Gallery. Between 2016 and 2017, her work was also exhibited at the British Museum in London in a group exhibition entitled ‘Iranian voices’.Tami's works are held at the Dalloul Art Foundation in Beirut and she has participated in international exhibitions including: British Museum in London (2016-2017), at the French Embassy in Tehran (1999) and at the Cite Internationale des Arts in Paris (2016).In her practice, Tami experiments with different materials and techniques and focuses mainly on the analysis of human beings. The artist has always been interested in investigating the physical peculiarities of people and their psychological complexity. In her works, she often depicts her own face and the naked faces and bodies of unknown people, with a special focus on those of women.
