Original serigraph realized by Nicola Simbari in 1976. Hand signed in pencil on the lower right margin and numbered in pencil on the lower left margin. Edition of 90 prints.
"Violet landscape" represents a stylized natural landscape with the predominance of three main colors: orange, violet and pink. It's an abstract Impressionist artwork, characterized by the use of bright colors and elegant blue silhouettes.
Nicola Simbari (San Lucido, 1927) was an Italian painter. Simbari's works are characterized by swatches of bright pastel hues to form stylized representations of people and places. His oeuvre features recurring landscape scenes of Mediterranean environments, often with partially nude women bathing or in the process of dress. Simbari's works can be found in numerous museums and private galleries around the world.
