Italian 889/1000 silver sugar bowl - Rome 1815-1842, mark of Francesco Colein; ; circular base with twisted eel-head handles; lid topped with a putto. Stamped with the silver warranty mark in use in Rome (Papal States) after 1815 for a silver fineness of 10 ounces and 16 denari (889/1000), siversmith Francesco Colein (1815-1842). Diameter 18.5 cm, height 18.5 cm. Total weight 349 gr. Item condition grading: **** good.
