The Order of Bahrein
A Commander's badge (III Class), 2nd type; gilt silver, 8-pointed star with a pattern of stylized palm leaves; centre medallion with the portrait of King Hamad within thin, red enameled border; white enameled outer circlet with golden inscription " Allah - al Watan - al Emir - al Bahrain " in arab calligraphy, within wider, decorative, red enameled border; polished reverse, the lower tip struck with silver and maker's marks, also struck on the convex, countermedallion; small, round loop to the upper tip, broad, moulded ribbon ring, its fron side enriched with six pearls; complete with its typical, narrow, original neck ribbon. A very rare order, awarded for exceptional merits towards the state, rich manufacture and excellent condition.
