Italian silver calix - Venice, early 18th Century
circular base with baluster stem and knot with vegetal decorations, gilded cup inside and outside. Stamped with the marks of the Lion in moleca, the assayer mark of Zuanne Contini and the silversmith mark, in use in Venice during the 18th Century (Ref. Pazzi tomo I, page 177 nr 613) and "800". Height 23 cm, base diameter 11.7 cm. Weight 278 gr. Item condition grading: **** good.
