A CÉLADON GLAZED AND PAINTED CERAMIC VASE, MAEBYONG
Korea, Goryeo period, 12th-13th century
The vase with a circular section with the maximum width of the diameter near the shoulder surmounted by a short cylindrical neck with expanded mouth, the brown enamel decoration consisting of stylized leaves reserved on the céladon glaze.
29 x 16 cm
Provenance: Italian private collection, acquired in Korea in the 1960s.
