A WHITE SLIP AND BROWN GLAZED CERAMIC VASE, MAEBYONG
Korea, Goryeo period, 12th century
The vase with a circular section with maximum diameter near the shoulder which supports a short cylindrical neck with the mouth underlined by a border, the white slip decoration reserved on the brown ground consisting of leafy shoots.
24 x 14 cm
Provenance: Italian private collection, acquired in Korea in the 1960s.
