AN INCISED AND CÉLADON GLAZED CERAMIC GLOBULAR VASE
Korea, Joseon period, 15th century (?)
The vase with a ring base supporting a globular body surmounted by a short cylindrical neck with a mouth underlined by a border, the incised decoration consisting on the body of two large fishes, the shoulder of paired stylized leaves, the whole external surface with a céladon glaze.
19 x 18 x 14 cm
Provenance: Italian private collection, purchased in Korea in the 1960s.
