Autograph letter with signature in black ink, by Giuseppe Garibaldi. The text reads "Palermo 21 July 1862 - I thank this worthy Association for the honor it has done me by electing me as its President and I gratefully accept it. The strong sons of Calabria have already done much for the unity and freedom of the Fatherland. May they continue boldly and steadfastly and soon Italy will all belong to the Italians.
