Gabriele d'Annunzio (Pescara, 12 marzo 1863 – Gardone Riviera, 1º marzo 1938) - Volume "Alla Piacente", Carmen votivum. Erotic poem dedicated to the silent film diva Elena Sangro, 1927. Oblong format, 13.5x22 cm, composed of 38 cards printed in two colors only on the recto with a facsimile of the original D'Annunzio text on separate paper. Hard cover with floral motifs, with blank spine, and green silk loop to close the volume. Ex-libris MEMENTO AUDERE SEMPER of circular shape applied on the cover, and another rectangular ARDISCO NON ORDISCO inside the front cover. Excellent storage conditions. The text opens with a quote from the Dante character from Lucca, Ser Bonagiunta Orbiciani: "Your pleasure is more about pleasure than another pleasure; but I like you"
