Rare - An impressive double sided map of the world by the Scarborough Company circa 1907, approx 96cm x 102cm. Printed on a single waxed sheet one side is titled Scarborough's Map of the World North America and South America Showing Countries and their Colonies Principal Transportation lines etc and the other side is titled Scarborough's Map of the World Europe, Asia, Africa and Australia Showing Countries and their Colonies Principal Transportation lines etc. Particular attention has been paid to the global railroad, and steamship network. Each side of the map is full of additional information ranging from Kings (Edward VII top right), population statistics etc. This is a rare old map and does show some signs of age / wear / fold lines (see photographs). rare map....condition is okay.......could be better (or a lot worse!).....same one for sale in USA in better condition for $650.
