Photograph signed Tony Britton British stage and film actor. Personally signed: by Tony Britton, 10 by 8 black and white photograph showing the British film and stage actor Tony Britton was born on June 9, 1924 in Birmingham, England. He premiered on stage at the age of 18., Joined the British Army and served with the Royal Artillery for several years. He returned to England and continued to appear on stage. He also appeared in numerous films and television shows between 1950 and 2009. Some of his films include The Rough and the Smooth (1959) Operation Amsterdam (1959), Sunday Bloody Sunday (1971) and The Day of the Jackal (1973). In 1975 he won a Broadcasting Press Guild Award for Best Actor for his role as David Henderson in the short lived British television series The Other Man (1956). Good condition.
