He has created a wide range of artworks , mainly salvaged from construction sites and carpentry shops. Mantey has been commissioned by high-profile figures, including President Nana , former Presidents, and boxer Azumah Nelson.He has exhibited his work in various venues, including 2007 African Art & Ghana?s economy @ 50 exhibition in Accra, The Wellington London, and the Juneteenth Family Exhibition in Australia.
