Diamond and Sapphire Three Stone Ring
This is a (stamped and electronically tested) 14 karat yellow gold diamond and blue sapphire ring. The approximate .75 carat oval, VS clarity diamond is prong set between approximate .50 carat blue sapphires. The diamond is a magnificent example of an early modern cut with a slightly larger culet the the modern brilliant-cut. The sapphires are slightly scuffed when magnified with a loupe, but with no detraction of their beauty. The gemstones are mounted on a 3.5 mm wide band. The ring is US size 8 and weighs 4.6 grams (3dwt). This is a preowned item in very good estate condition.
