Antique c1870s Coxcomb & Eagle Quilt
Antique c1870s Coxcomb & Eagle Quilt measuring 81 x 82 inches, 9 block arrangement of a cockscomb variation block in indigo and dot fabric with bird and additional flower on top; blocks measure about 18/5 by 18.5, set straight, 3 by 3, with a swag and bow border 13.5 inches wide, with an seated eagle at each corner. It is handpieced, hand appliqued and hand quilted. Solid white cotton reverse with indigo and dot applied binding by hand. In good condition with several small spots and a noted repair on the bottom edge. If you have any doubt, please ask questions! We will provide extra pictures, or can schedule an in person or video conference preview at your convenience. In house Flat Rate Shipping of $25 is a domestic shipping estimate for first quilt and includes insurance. We will gladly combine multiple lots for your convenience and economy.
