Antique c1870 Pine Cone Star Quilt measuring 63 by 81 inches. It is comprised of 12 blocks, 16 by 16 inches, set straight, 3 by 4, with 3 inch double pink print sashing and inner border, and a one inch solid blue outer border. It is hand pieced, and hand quilted. Thin cotton batting and an off white cotton reverse. The edge is finished with a bright cheddar orange applied binding by hand and machine. It is in good condition with 2 large spots in one block. There is a label on the reverse stating Quilt-Pine Cone-made 1870 by Elizabeth Hall Jones for Sister Margaret Hall McCoy. In house Flat Rate Shipping of $30 is a domestic shipping estimate for first lot and includes insurance. We will gladly combine multiple lots for your convenience and economy.
