VERY RARE leaflet about the city of Lisbon. The work met a facsimile edition, with an explanatory note by Vieira da Silva in which it is stated that the copy of the BN was the only one known until then. Published anonymously, according to Vieira da Silva quoting Joaquim de Vasconcelos, it is possible that it was authored by Fr. Nicolau de Oliveira, author of the Livro das Grandezas de Lisboa, originally published in 1620. The work has "a series of verses in praise of the city of Lisbon and its surroundings. [...] , buildings and city life at the beginning of the second quarter of the 17th century" [cf. Scallop].
