Second edition to believe the information given by Inocêncio (X, 376) which gives the first as printed in 1770. «Mattos began to make himself known as a poet through the publication of some separate works, such as the eclogues of Albano and Damiana, by Agrario, Anfriso and Braz, etc., which were well accepted by many” (Inoc., IV, 55). It was only later that he brought together these poems and other scattered ones and brought them together in the volume presented here. Unusual.
