FIRST EDITION, FIRST PRINTING of one of the most important treatises on astronomy and cosmography instruments. The work describes in detail instruments used in those sciences that had been invented until then, giving due credit to their authors, being, for some of the instruments, the only known description. The work is profusely illustrated with an engraving outside the text, 3 wood engravings with moving parts and a variety of other illustrations in the text. Very rare and valuable.
