Early Lucanian red-figure bell krater of the Cyclops Painter. About 410 BC. Height 32,6cm, ø mouth 33,8cm. On one side a youthful woman with sakkos holding a taenia between two athletes, both with strigilis, one in addition with cane. On the other side three draped youths having a conversation. With copies of a storage attestation of the Musée d´Art et d´Histoire in Geneva from 8th of June 1988 and a certificate of The Art Loss Register! Listed in the A. D. Trendall Archive of the La Trobe University in Melbourne, Australia! Reassembled from fragments, small missing parts are retouched.
