Bactrian female composite idol. BMAC (Bactria-Margiana Archaeological Complex) or Oxus Civilization, 2500 - 1800 BC. Height 6,7cm, width 5,2cm. Body and headpiece made of chlorite, head and left arm made of white limestone. Seated goddess with geometrical, reduced body, wearing a thick, plain cloak and a rough shirt. Head, left arm and hat are worked separately and can be reattached. Tiny fragments are missing, otherwise intact. Published 1988. The pieces comes with the original publication by G.Ligabue and S.Salvatore!
