A VERY FINE ICON OF THE MOHTER OF GOD ‘O VSEPYETAYA MATI’ (O ALL-HYMNED MOTHER) MUTTER) Russian, late 19th century Russland, Ende 19. Jh. Tempera on wood panel with kovcheg. Finely executed in great detail and chrysography. The haloes made of gold. Four selected saints on the borders: Sts. Zechariah, Elisabeth, Hilarion and Catherine. 31.3 x 26.7 cm.
