A FINE AND LARGE ICON SHOWING THE FEODOROVSKAYA MOTHER OF GOD Russian, Palekh, late 18th century Tempera on wood panel with kovcheg. The haloes made of gold. Four selected saints on the borders, St. John Chrysostom and Eudokia among them. All rendered in bright colours and with the drapery heightened with chrysography. Minimally worn. 44.5 x 37.5 cm.
