Technique: Verbund zweier Zypressenholz-Bretter mit zwei Rückseiten-Sponki. Kowtscheg, Eitempera auf Kreidegrund, partielle Vergoldung

A STAMPED ICON SHOWING CHRIST PANTOKRATOR Russian, Moscow, Workshop of Mikhail Ivanovitch Dikarev, late 19th century Tempera on wood panel with kovcheg. Finely executed with intense use of gold striations. Minor vertical crack. On the reverse Cyrillic stamp of the Dikarov workshop. 31.3 x 26.5 cm.
