The central section depicting the Descent into Hell and the Resurrection of Christ. The center is surrounded by twelve images showing scenes from the Passion of Christ within a surround of the saints and feasts commemorated in the months begin the upper left with September, each month presented over five registers with the identifying inscription on the border. The minute figures depicted in great detail with bright red and blue colours. The border showing 52 half-length portraits of the Mother of God, holding Christ in a variety of poses.Horizontal cuts restored, minimal restorations. 108.5 x 80 cm.
