Oval serving plate from the Vandernyver service, Sevres, 1793, painter's monogram LT, The plate comes from a dinner service from Sèvres, which was sold to the Dutch banker Jean-Baptiste Vandernyver on November 29, 1792. The service originally consisted of 92 plates and most of it was sold at Christie's in London in 1897. Pieces from this service are in the State Hermitage in St. Petersburg. In the mirror an oval medallion with fine bird painting, in the flag rose garlands, bordered by cobalt blue edges, rich ornamental gilding, chips on the rim, old restoration, 38 x 26 cm
