Tunk lighter, 1st h. 19th c., bronze. The devil himself in monk's habit sitting on an oblong terrain plinth with a small well (in the back the devil's tail peeps out of the habit). This with hinged lid, under it a porcelain insert. A single match can be inserted into the spherical lid knob. The small basin probably as a tray for burnt wood. Head and collar as hinged lid, below container for matches. Mounted on a black stone plinth. Hinged lid loose, 13 x 19 x 11 cm.
