PERSALL, MANCHESTER AN UNUSUAL GEORGE III FIGURED MAHOGANY LONGCASE CLOCK having a swan neck pediment with pierced fretwork panels above an ogee moulded hood door flanked by brass-capped reeded Corinthian columns on reeded quarter columned trunk with shaped top moulded door on canted base, the 14" arched brass dial having a rare regulator layout with Arabic minute chapter ring surrounding a scroll engraved centre with seconds and hours apertures, the arch with rolling moon phase and tidal dial fronting an eight-day weight driven movement with anchor escapement striking the hours on a bell (241cm high)
