A GEORGE III FIGURED MAHOGANY QUARTER CHIMING VERGE BRACKET CLOCK, the bell top pediment with ormolu finials above a glazed door, pierced ormolu sound frets to the front and sides and raised on scrolled acanthus leaf ormolu feet, the 8" gilt brass and silvered dial having rococo spandrels and silvered Roman chapter ring surrounding a concentric calendar, the arch with Strike/Silent dial fronting an eight-day triple fusee movement with foliate engraved backplate and verge escapement chiming the quarters on three bells and the hours on a larger bell. (61cm high including finial.)
