A GEORGE III QUARTER CHIMING LONGCASE CLOCK, the brass inlaid figured mahogany case with break arched pediment and shaped moulded trunk door in box base with applied moulded panel, the 12" arched brass dial with gilt spandrels and silvered chapter ring surrounding a matted centre with seconds dial and calendar aperture, the arch with Strike/Silent dial fronting an eight-day three train weight driven movement chiming the quarters on eight bells and the hours on a larger bell.
