A LARGE LATE 19TH CENTURY FRENCH OVAL CASED REPEATING CARRIAGE CLOCK WITH CALENDAR WORK having a brass moulded case inset with bowed bevelled glass panels enclosing a silvered engine turned masked porcelain dial with Turkish numerals above three porcelain subsidiary dials for days, date and alarm fronting an eight-day repeating movement with alarm striking the hours/half hours on a bell with original compensated lever escapement - comes with the original Morocan leather case. (20cm high handle up)
