De Lesseps´, two pages, 8vo, 26th October 1878, on his personal printed stationery of ''La Chenaie par Vatan - Indre'', to a `Colleague´, in French. De Lesseps states in part `On my return at home after a two days journey in Paris, I find your kind letteer from the 22nd ´, further congratularing his correspondent for the work he is doing for his father, and saying `..you can count on my moral and material support, you can therefore register my name for the 20th December conference. I am very sensible to your good remembrances of the dinner held by the Geographie..´ Beneath his signatura De Lesseps adds a post-scriptum explaining that he intends to return to Paris with his family few days later.
